What do you think of this trailer? I can't say I'm really excited to see this movie, which is sort of disappointing because you could do so much with a new Red Riding Hood. It's from the director of Twilight and I have to admit that I haven't seen the Twilight movies, but this trailer sort of reminds me of Twilight vs. The Village. I think it comes out in March.
Twilight versus the Village! Haha, that's very appropriate. I think it looks intriguing, but I also have this feeling that it may be one of those movies where the trailer is more exciting than the movie. LOL I could be wrong...
I think the trailer will be better than the movie :) Wasn't a big fan of Catherine Hardwick when she did Twilight, but this story does have a lot of potential.
I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to movies, so it'll have to be REALLY awful for me to truly be disappointed.
That being said, I can't really tell from the trailer—To me, it could go either way. It could be cooler than the trailer makes it look. Or...it could be that every remotely cool or interesting moment happens in the trailer. Only time will tell! :-)
i think this one looks good (even though i'm not really a fan of hardwicke- especially her action scenes! eeks!) but this looks beautiful... but then again i really loved the village. :)
You're hilarious, Lindsey. It does remind me of a Twilight/Village mashup. I have to say though that I'm a sucker for anything Medieval-looking. I would probably rent this when it comes out on DVD. I think the trailer gives too much away so we think we already know everything.
I Definitely got the Twilight vibe from this. The first time we saw the preview (in the theatre) my sister and I had to REALLY try not to burst into extremely loud snickers, because everyone seemed so excited about it.
I'm kind of intrigued, but I'll wait to Netflix it :)
The trailer really does feel like Twilight... same type of shots.. same type of music... I think Hardwick didn't do such a great job with Twilight (they've each gotten a bit better I think, though the acting could still improve..) so I'd be a bit skeptical on this one. I'll probably see this movie because I like the actress a lot, but I'm not expecting much.
This might be worth seeing in the theater. I just love the play of red on white. They were smart to put it in the snow. Though this really looks like a teen movie.

I actually am excited to see the movie! I think the trailer is beautiful, and the director may have put a unique spin on it.

Lol... I think it's the werewolf thing. It's just overdone right now.
...first time I saw it, I thought "The Village" as well. But it won't keep us from watching:)

Ummm, not sure that will be on my list to watch, or at least spend money on it in the theatre; perhaps when it comes out On Demand.
