Midweek Madness

Hello!  What's shakin' in your world this week?  I am knee deep in report cards and completely entranced by The Book Thief, which I just started yesterday (yeah, I'm a little late to that party but it's definitely worth the wait).

Without further ado, a few quick somethings for your hump day enjoyment.  Happy Wednesday!

Christina Perri - Jar of Hearts - Love. This. Song.  Amazing video. :)

Sand Art - Russian Love :  If you have never seen this beautiful, amazing, heartbreaking story told completely with music and sand... go.  Watch.  Immediately.  Trust me, it's worth the 8 1/2 minutes.  (Not for kids).

Good luck with report cards!

The Book Thief is awesome- a bunch of my students are reading it for the Spring Book Club assignment. They love it!

The Book Thief is the best, lucky for you you get to read it for the first time! It's one of those books you wish you could experience for the first time all over again!!!

The Book Thief will stay with you long after you read it. Also, you did a blog makeover! I kinda miss the stripedy feet, but love the colors!

Wah! I've missed coming over here :( So looking forward to summer.

How are you doing on THE BOOK THIEF? I read that one and really enjoyed it. Long but lyrical and lovely. I love Death being the narrator--such a tender-hearted but practical Death! ;o)
