What I Most Want to Write Right Now

1. A nasty letter to poison ivy. (I'm allergic and it is spreading and UGH!)

2. A nasty letter to Tootsie Roll's pneumonia & Curly Jones' new cough.

3. A fan letter to inhalers.

4. A fan letter to my hubby's new facial hair (ok, he just trimmed his goatee but it's so darn cute)

5. Fan letters to books and tv for keeping my kids happily occupied even though we can't go outside on this Fourth of July (100 degree temps + humidity do not mix well with children using inhalers)

6. A nastier letter to poison ivy.

7. A letter to one of my best friends who just moved to a new state.

8.  A letter to my pants, explaining that I miss them, too, but there is too much Aveeno cream on my legs to allow us to be together right now.

9. A letter to Tootsie Roll's theater camp directors thanking them for believing in her and giving her a big role this year (sooo proud!).

10. A book review of Num8ers, which I won in a contest and just finished... but I have never written book reviews before and am deciding whether or not I want to.

11.  Oh yeah, my new wip, which is in the dreamy idea and beginningly skeletal stage!  It's a new genre for me, I guess it would be considered fantasy?  It's sort of like a long original fairy tale.  Like Stardust (only I wish I were as cool as Neil Gaiman). ;)

12. More nasty letters to poison ivy!

"A Poison Pen Letter to Poison Ivy"
:-)

I'm so sorry to hear your children are unwell! Oh dear! May they both get better soon.

And how exciting to read that you are starting a new WIP!!!!!! Yay!!!!! Sounds ever so good - an original fairy tale - amazing!!
GOOD LUCK!!

And I look forward to your book review! I'm quite useless with writing book reviews - I just say:
1)I loved them
2)they were ok and wished I'd borrowed from the library rather than bought and
2) what the....??? How on god's green earth did this got published?!?! LOL!

take care and happy 4th of July!!!
x

Agree with you on the nasty letter to poison ivy. It's the one single plant that I simply hate and yet it continues to plague the edges of our yard and field. Almost impossible to get rid of.
I just got over the nastiest case of the stuff, had to get a shot and then strong steroids that made me literally sick to take but it did the trick in just a few days. It spreads on me like wildfire.
WOuld love to see the stuff stamped out forever.
Love the names of Tootsie Roll and Curly Jones.
Good luck with the new WIP.
Blessings.

Good luck with your WIP. Good luck with your poison ivy, too. I hate poison ivy, it seems to pop up just about everywhere. Try not to scratch it!

Sorry about the poison ivy encounters. I have shared that pain before.

Ouch. Sorry about the poison ivy and about the horrible heat (we have the 100 degree weather here too) and your kids' pneumonia and cough. I hope everything gets better soon! But your new WIP sounds awesome -- can't wait to hear more about it!

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog, it really made me smile to have someone relate. I'm happy to say that I caught up on your blog (love the car cart post) and hopefully I'm back in the blogging world for good!

Aww man, it never fails, the kids get sick when you do, isn't that the way though?

I hope everybody feels better soon (and if you write that nasty letter to poison ivy I'm sure it'd be very entertaining!)

Poison ivy, 100 degrees outside, and inhalers, oh my! Not fun, but I’m happy to hear you’ve started a new idea. (I loved Stardust.)

100 degrees with humidity. You poor thing and then to add poison ivy, too. You deserve some chocolate. :)Much luck with your new WIP.

Can I guest post a letter to Poison Ivy. I hate her too. Not Uma Thurman in Batman & Robin, I like Uma.

Thanks for joining Just the Cheese. Drop me a comment some time.

I hope all improves in your life asap!!

We have matching temperatures, it is only the start of it for us, here in Cyprus. August is our hot month.

Can I use bad language in the poison ivy letter? And how about morning glory? I weed and weed, but it doesn't take the hint and comes back time and again to choke my flower garden. It's great to read your blog again. I've missed my buddy in Jersey.

I'm so with you on the nasty letters to poison ivy! Ugh!!! I'm super allergic to it. I feel for you (and your pants - lol). Get better soon!

Your WIP sounds intriguing! I LOOOOOVE Stardust -- it's one of my favorites. Good luck and keep us posted. :)
