My Laptop Has a Case of the Mondays

So today and tomorrow I am home by myself for the little bit of spring break that I get before having to make up snow days.  I have been looking forward to these WRITING DAYS for... oh... I can't even tell you how long.  And now that they are here and I am raring to go, my computer is once again freaking out.  It just took 15 minutes to boot into Windows.  This is very bad news.  On top of that, my brand new printer is being cranky, but I think it's the computer being cranky communicating with the printer.  Seriously, technology!  I do not appreciate your attempts at foiling  my writerly mojo.

The GOOD news is that I had to continue some research and I found the perfect article full of exactly the info I needed, all written in a nice report form with a giant, handy chart for quick reference.  I am in love.

Oh no! That's so annoying! Give your laptop a smack for being naughty and tell it to behave!

Good to hear, though, that you found the perfect article. That's great!

Word verification: kinks. Seems appropriate for computer troubles!

boo on that!
I'm taking my tax money and investing in a new laptop. Preferrably one that runs faster and has a full size keyboard

I used to have a laptop possessed by Satan. It finally died and now I have a new one that makes me very, very happy. Good luck with yours!

Computers can be cruel. Mine seems to know when to torment me-- I swear it must have a mind of its own. Maybe someday I'll get my laptop so I can leave my room

I’d like to invite you and your readers to join us in a blogging challenge for the month of April. Check it out at Blogging From A to Z

Computers are like cats. They always choose to act up at the worst possible moments, but we couldn't live without them, could we? :-)

Ha- I like Cynthia's thoughts. She nailed it!

I hope things start speeding up.

We really do take our computers and autos for granted. It's only when they don't work, that we realize how much we rely on them!

It's so frustrating...

Ugh! Why does technology never cooperate when it needs to? Sending happy thoughts your way so that you can get some writing done. :o)
