Why, YES... it IS a USB typewriter!
In fact, USBTypewriter is its trademarked name and you can find out all about it here. Take 11 seconds of your life to check out the demo:
Neat, huh? :) Ok, yes, I am trying to distract you from the fact that this week I am too busy to post for real because of report cards and trying to get pages ready for my VERY FIRST CP (aaaah! And I heart you, Rebecca of the 16 pages!) and reading the super fun beginning of her awesome NaNo rewrite.
Wait... I would have posted this anyway cause it is full of awesome! :)

It really is full of awesome! I first learned to type on a manual typewriter - scary! :)
Jemi - ME TOO!!!
I learned to type as a kid on a typewriter and used it all the way through high school. I saved up from two part-time jobs in high school to proudly head off to college in 1993 with my shiny new Brother Word Processor! ;) I bought my first computer maybe a year or two later in college. :)
Isn't it funny, the things you couldn't believe your parents didn't have? It feels so crazy to be on the flip side now!
my aunt cathy is a writer. she always writes on an old-fashioned typewriter while smoking a pipe. cracks me up! :)
I LOVE this!
I love this gadget!! I still have my electronic typewriter but learned my craft using a manual one and I just want this so much!!! Thank you!! Take care

I love it! I love it I love it I love it! I had a little typewriter when I was like 11 and I wrote my first beginning of a novel of it. It has since gone to the great office in the sky, but I think of it with great affection.
Also. YEAH FOR CPS!
Okay, the pictures of that typewriter/computer thingy make me feel sort of cool and steampunk-ish. I could write mysterious things with a machine like that. Hmm. Maybe I need to get out more instead. Way to go on your, writing, Lindsey. You're a ninja!
How clever! I have a typewriter just like that down in the basement. Now to plug it in. :)
That's so cool.
I had this adorable baby-blue Smith & Corona manual typewriter in high school. But it was so hard to type on! Still, I itch to clickity clack on one of those.
